
Peter Shaw was an English actor, producer and the second husband of actress Angela Lansbury. Following the Second World War, Shaw started his acting career in front of the camera. Peter Shaw later found success as a studio executive. Shaw was born on June 24, 1918, in Reading, Berkshire, England. During the Second World War, Shaw served in the British Army. In the late 1940s, the Charles Feldman Agency signed Shaw to a deal with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Peter Shaw trained with Paul Small, he went on to work as an executive for the studio and eventually for the William Morris Agency, where he represented Katharine Hepburn and Robert Mitchum among others. After rejoining the William Morris Agency in 1964 as an international business manager, Shaw went back to MGM as assistant head of production.
Corymore Productions was established by Shaw in 1987. Later, together with his two boys, he worked at Universal Studios to produce the made-for-television movie Murder, She Wrote, starring his wife Angela Lansbury.

Peter Shaw died of heart failure in his Los Angles home on January 29, 2003. Shaw died at the age of 84.
